Shutdown with a double click
1.) Just open the notepad.
2.) simply write
shutdown /s
3) now "save as" this as shut.bat on the desktop
u can use any name instead of "shut" accept "shutdown" coz its not working wid that name. and i dnt know the reason.
4.) Now u r just a double click away from the shutdown. it'll take approx 30 secs before shutting down. If u want an immediate shutdown u can ask me the syntax for that.
I've tried this on XP and Vista and its working.
U can also try the same to restart ur PC.
HIBERNATION
to shutdown really its better not to shut down ur pc
just hibernate it. for hibernating in two clicks follow the same steps as above.
and write "shutdown /h" in place of "shutdown /s"
for removing the 30 seconds delay write
shutdown /s /t xx
where xx is the time in seconds
eg for 10 secs delay
shutdown /s /t 10
for no delay
shutdown /s /t 00
